This marks a huge milestone in the SWI's three-year strategic plan and will help to support the development of a new Visitor Learning Centre for the organisation.
National President Mary Burney said: "This is an exciting time for the SWI and the Board is delighted to have reached this point."
Chief Executive Diane Cooper added: "After a lengthy process, we are looking ahead to an exciting future. We have collated a significant number of historical and crafted items which are of national importance, and these are being protected and preserved and will go forward to the Visitor Learning Centre to inform, educate, and inspire future generations."
The official moving date will be September 22nd and we will keep you posted on where staff will relocate to soon.
