Vaughan Nash Trophy winners claim their prize

The Vaughan Nash Trophy winners took to the stage to collect their award at the National Conference & Exhibition this weekend...

Members of groups and Institutes across Scotland competed for the Vaughan Nash trophy and the beautiful results were created to exhibit at the SWI National Conference & Exhibition in Perth.

Each team was asked to make an embroidered item, a knitted or crocheted item, a sewn item and any two other craft items. A staggering 53 Institutes took part, so it was a difficult job for the judges to choose the winner!

Winner of the 1st Silver Medallions is Hawksland Institute, Lanarkshire.
