New processes for SWI Institute Bank of Scotland accounts

As of 22 September 2025, the Bank of Scotland has introduced a new process for SWI Institute accounts.

Please note the following important changes:

All queries about individual accounts must now go directly to the Bank of Scotland helpdesk on 0345 300 0268. The window for SWI Central Office to handle account enquiries on your behalf is closed.

A 12-month account fee discount has been confirmed as a goodwill gesture for SWI Institutes. Bank letters confirming this will arrive in October.

Community Accounts:

Accounts currently paying £4.25 per month will receive a 12-month fee discount from January 2026. Please note, past fees will not be refunded.

Treasurer Accounts moving to Community Accounts will also benefit from the discount starting January 2026.

Transaction fees apply from Jan 2026.

New Community Accounts opened after August 2025 will be charged the standard Annual Maintenance Fee and will not qualify for the discount.
