The Scottish Women’s Institutes are delighted to be delivering a series of member-led workshops at the Ideal Home Show Scotland this year.

Across the four days of the show, we’ll be hosting a diverse programme of creative sessions, showcasing the talent and skills of our members:

  • Friday: Decoupage Coasters with Linda McTurk
  • Saturday: Pyrography (wood burning) with Helen Bissett
  • Sunday: Macramé Leaves with Sharon Murdoch
  • Monday: Textile Landscapes with Margaret Crawford

Spaces are limited and workshops can be booked in advance here:

We’re also pleased to share that SWI member and Board Trustee Jane Hogg will be taking part in a live cooking demonstration, alongside SWI Members’ Gathering speaker and MasterChef finalist Sarah Rankin, bringing a taste of SWI creativity and community spirit to the show stage.

Alongside the workshop & demonstration programme, we’ll also have a small SWI membership stall at the event so please do come and say hello!
