Lanarkshire SWI Federation Meeting
The Lanarkshire SWI Federation Meeting takes place on Thursday 27 August 2026 at 7.30pm at Brocketsbrae Hall, Lesmahagow. All members are warmly welcome.
This is the first of our new format Federation meetings where the focus is on sharing with all members rather than just Institute office bearers and Federation representatives
The evening includes:
Safeguarding & Wellbeing Presentation: Dorothy Combe, the Federation’s Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer, will talk through the new safeguarding responsibilities that apply to every Institute.
Spoken Word Showcase: Performances from Lanarkshire’s three teams who took part in the National spoken word competition, each sharing their take on the theme “Nostalgia.”
Meet, Chat & Refreshments: Time to catch up with fellow members over tea and coffee. Attendees are asked to bring their own cup or mug for refreshments at the close of the meeting.
