about
The SWI in Angus
To complement all the national SWI events, workshops and classes on offer, each region in Scotland has its own local SWI organising team, known as a Federation, to look after the groups in its area. They offer women across the region opportunities to meet neighbouring members for day trips, outings and events, take part in regional shows, and enter fun competitions.
Angus Federation proudly supports women in the Angus council region – from Lundie in the south to Tarfside in the north, Westmuir in the west to Inverkeilor in the east. It was formed in Glamis in 1922, and has been offering learning, friendship and get-togethers ever since.
