Join us for an evening of creativity! SWI Board of Trustees member Linda McTurk will guide you step-by-step in making your own decorative decoupage coasters and pillar candles. Whether you’re a crafting newbie or a seasoned pro, this online session is the perfect way to relax, get creative, and connect with fellow SWI members.

About the Session

During this interactive session, you’ll learn decoupage techniques to transform everyday items into beautiful home décor. Linda will demonstrate each step, and you’ll have the chance to follow along in real time from the comfort of your home.

What You’ll Need

Please have the following materials ready before the session:

  • Multi-purpose PVA glue
  • Plain coasters or another suitable base (ceramic tiles, cork, wooden candle lid)
  • Pillar candle
  • Decorative napkins (top printed layer only)
  • Foam brush or paint brush
  • Clear acrylic sealer or varnish
  • Sharp craft knife or scissors

Optional materials for convenience:

  • Craft mat or newspaper (to protect surfaces)
  • Paper towels or cloth (for cleaning brushes)
  • Ruler (for precise cutting)
