The SWI in Lanarkshire
To complement all the national SWI events, workshops and classes on offer, each region in Scotland has its own local SWI organising team, known as a Federation, to look after the groups in its area. They offer women across the region opportunities to meet neighbouring members for day trips, outings and events, take part in regional shows, and enter fun competitions.
Lanarkshire Federation is one of the most diverse and active in the country, with opportunities to get involved in golfing, bowling, crafting, their Rural Ramblers group, and even to join their every own choir! A thriving and vibrant community, Lanarkshire Federation largely covers South Lanarkshire, from East Kilbride to Biggar.
