about
The SWI in Aberdeenshire
To complement all the national SWI events, workshops and classes on offer, each region in Scotland has its own local SWI organising team, known as a Federation, to look after the groups in its area. They offer women across the region opportunities to meet neighbouring members for day trips, outings and events, take part in regional shows, and enter fun competitions.
Aberdeenshire Federation is the biggest in Scotland with more than 1,100 women meeting regularly for fun, friendship and lifelong learning. It covers the Granite City and much of the hinterlands – from Fraserburgh in the north, to Ballater in the west and has thriving groups, sparky members and fabulously skilled crafters to learn from!
