The SWI in Shetland
To complement all the national SWI events, workshops and classes on offer, each region in Scotland has its own local SWI organising team, known as a Federation, to look after the groups in its area. They offer women across the region opportunities to meet neighbouring members for day trips, outings and events, take part in regional shows, and enter fun competitions.
Shetland Federation proudly includes Institutes on Mainland, Northmavine, Yell and Whalsay. They provide a powerful opportunity for connection between rural communities and love to get together for regular shows, competitions, crafting, and even a holiday weekend!
